State BJP President D. V. Sadananda Gowda today said that the BJP had decided to severe ties with JD(S) as "we are fed up". He was talking to our correspondent here this morning before leaving for the party's Parliamentary Board meeting.

Recalling the circumstances that led to the BJP – JD (S) coalition 20 months ago, Gowda said that his party sacrificed the post of the Chief Minister despite having the strength of 79 MLAs with the sole aim of bringing a non - Congress Government in the State to provide good governance.

Referring to the complaints of JD (S) about alleged BJP harassment, Gowda said that his party suspended party MLC Janardhan Reddy within 24 hours after he launched a tirade against the Chief Minister.

"We also got the resignation of Tourism Minister Sriramulu for his allegation against the Chief Minister within 24 hours", he added.

"But what action JD (S) took against Merajuddin Patel, Ministers Jayakumar and Iqbal Ansari, who criticised us and Yediyurappa ?" he asked.

Asked whether BJP would be prepared for snap polls as desired by the JD (S), Gowda said: "The people's court is open for every political party".

Yediyurappa to meet Governor tomorrow:
BJP plans massive march to Raj Bhavan

Bharathiya Janatha Party (BJP), which has decided to pull out of the coalition, will withdraw its support to JD(S) tomorrow i. e. 7th October 2007, Sunday.

Yediyurappa, the Deputy Chief Minister, will meet the Governor Rameshwar Thakur at 12 noon tomorrow at the Raj Bhavan and submit a letter of withdrawal.

Early tomorrow Yediyurappa will leave for Siddhaganga to seek the blessings of Dr. Shivakumar Swamiji. On his return, Yediyurappa will preside over the meeting of BJP Legislature Party (BJPLP) at 11 am where a decision will be taken to withdraw support.

Later Yediyurappa will lead a huge procession from Mahatma Gandhi Statue on M. G. Road to Raj Bhavan.

BJP sources said that apart from Ministers and Legislators, about 25,000 supporters of BJP from all over the State will participate in the procession.

Health Minister R. Ashok, now in Delhi, told our correspondent that the rally would give a call to the people of Karnataka to teach a lesson to father and son (H.D. Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy) for breaking promise.

Congress Legislators meet begins:
With the changed political equation between the coalition partners and the withdrawal of the BJP from the Kumaraswamy Government, the earlier coalition partner Congress (I) is again seeing some hope of participating in some way in making Kumaraswamy Government to continue.

One opinion is the Congress is considering the possibility of giving outside support to JD (S) just as the leftist parties are giving support to the UPA in the Centre. The other opinion that is being circulated is that one of the top - rung leaders of Congress to become the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister's office to go to JD (S). The third opinion that has emerged is that the Cong. High Command may also demand for immediate election which the BJP is also demanding.

Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting which is going on at the Vidhana Soudha as we went to the press would conclude later in the day when we would be able to get the decision of the Congress party. However, whatever may be the decision here in Karnataka it is the Congress High Command which will have the last word.

Looking at the present scenario it is clear the future of Kumaraswamy Government depends now not so much on what BJP does but what decision the Congress High Command takes.
