Reading about Steve Jobs, the genius inventor of iPod, iPad, iPhone, iMac etc. who passed away at a rather young age of 56 due to cancer, I learn that he had told his biographer Walter Isaacson that the former US President Bill Clinton, when in trouble because of his affair with Monica Lewinsky, had sought his advice as to how to handle the scandalous situation.
Steve Jobs, according to what was published in his biography, advised Clinton saying: "I don't know if you did it, but if so, you have got to tell the country." Clinton, according to the book, remained silent for long. Well, understandable.
Anyway, what happened subsequently is now buried in history and what a lucky man Clinton was and is. He survived his Presidency, his marriage too was saved and even got a bonus when his wife Hillary Clinton became the Secretary of State of US, just missing the opportunity of becoming the first woman President of USA. If she had become the President, nudging Barack Obama, the Clintons would have been the first couple to become US Presidents. Sex Power Sir, Sex Power!

Be that as it may, sweet as it is, I find a gem of a statement about how sex chiefly works, from Monica Lewinsky herself. Here is an extract from the report on Monica’s relationship with Bill Clinton.
"We talked briefly and sort of acknowledged that there had been a chemistry that was there before and that we were bodily attracted to each other and then he asked me if he could kiss me."
And the rest was sheer joy and ecstasy till the relationship was exposed and it became an agony.
Bill Clinton unfortunately could not succeed in dealing with Monica on the lines observed by William Makepeace Thackeray, who said, "Men serve women on their knees. When they rise, they go away." Poor Bill, he could not go away. Rather, he was stopped while trying to go away pulling up his pants that had gone down while he was on his knees serving Monica!
I think Osho Rajneesh has in a way explained the reason why Bill Clinton behaved the way he did while the going was good — including the blow - job under the table and the famous cigar smoke with a special dip, you know where — and when the going got tough.
Osho says men's needs are more physiological; women’s needs are more psychological. Hence the woman feels as if she is exploited even in marriage. Osho opines that man has local sexuality; it is not spread all over his body unlike that of a woman whose whole body is sexual. And man is always in a hurry; his love is nothing but a hit – and - run affair. That, probably, was what Bill Clinton was trying to do with Monica! I think we may have to agree with Thackeray when he says, "Men serve women on their knees. When they rise, they go away."
To come back to Steve Jobs, he has had a chequered career — went sowing wild oats before marriage, got married and his family life too was not a bed of roses; very eccentric in his personal behaviour. Wonder why Bill Clinton thought of seeking his advice. Clinton has not confirmed this though.
Now, an Osho joke:
Lester was continuously nervous and tense. So he went to see his doctor. He was greeted by the lovely red - headed nurse and he told her his problem.
She said, "That's easy to fix."
She then took him into a little room, relieved his tension and said, “that will be ten dollars please."
A few weeks later, Lester was nervous and tense again, so he went back to the doctor. The doctor examined him and gave him a prescription for tranquilizers and said, "That will be five dollars."
Lester looked at the doctor and said, "If it is all the same to you doc, I would just as soon have the ten dollar treatment."
