With all the main players, including JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda, Chief Minister Kumaraswamy and former Deputy Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa returning from Delhi, the political scene has shifted to Bangalore triggering hectic activity in the State capital.
Chief Minister Kumaraswamy held a meeting of JD (S) Legislature Party at his Home Office Krishna, which began at 10.30 am on 7th October 2007. He reportedly briefed the meeting the developments in Delhi over transfer of power.

He told the media persons after the meeting that his party Legislators had decided against forming a new coalition with any party including the Congress.
"We have decided to go to polls", he added.
He said that he would meet the Governor either today i. e. 7th October, 2007or tomorrow i. e. 8th October 2007 and appeal to him to allow him (CM) to prove his party's majority in the special session of the Assembly on Oct. 18.
BJP procession:
Meanwhile, Yediyurappa held a meeting of BJP Legislators and former Ministers at his Race Course Road residence. Later, he proceeded to M. G. Road and garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
He went in a mammoth procession of party workers and supporters to Raj Bhavan were he submitted a letter to the Governor Rameshwar Thakur around noon conveying his Party's decision to withdraw support to JD (S). The processionists were shouting slogans against the Chief Minister and JD (S) supremo H. D. Deve Gowda. He was taken in an open jeep with the crowd cheering him.
BJP welcomes:
Talking to the media at the residence of Yediyurappa, the State BJP Chief D. V. Sadananda Gowda said that his party would welcome the decision of the Chief Minister to seek vote of confidence on Oct. 18.
Enter Kheny:
Meanwhile, the BJP is working out a strategy to expose the alleged land scams targeting Deve Gowda family with the help of NICE Managing Director Ashok Kheny.
Yediyurappa will begin Jagruthi Yatra from Tumkur on Monday, 8th October. The Yatra will visit Chitradurga and Davanagere also the same day.
