The youth at Yuva Dasara programme at Maharaja's College Grounds here went into raptures while the popular singer Vasundhara Das was belting out lilting popular numbers one after another.

Surprisingly along with the youngsters even the people's representatives seated in the front row could not contain their spirit and enthusiasm and began swaying and shaking their legs to the rhythmic music.

With Vasundhara rendering the Hindi song “Sayyaji bar Sayyaji”, MLC G. Madhusudan began dancing along with his son. Inspired by the response, Vasundhara came down from the dais and raised the pitch of the song. The other people's representatives too joined the dance accelerating the enthusiasm of the youth who too began advancing towards the dais and the Police had a tough time to restore the crowd back to their seats.

Vasundhara's rendition of “Rabba Rabba Mevaruna” and “Ringa Ringa Ringare” captivated the audience with Deputy Commissioner P.S. Vastrad and Police Commissioner Sunil Agarwal too clapping along with the song.
