Comments : Who ever wrote this article (a
year after Dr. RajKumar's Kidnap) is gone nuts. He seems to have a
personal grudge on Dr.Raj and his family. I strongly oppose and condemn so called
Kannadigas like this bloke who wrote this article. He seems to have no work other
than writing stupid article like this. Its not the proper way to treat a person
who is still and ever will be heart and soul of whole kannada populace. I condemn
the guys who put these kind of article in their web site. This is the reason why
kannada culture has not grown as other languages( If any Tom, Dick & Harry
can write any thing on how can kannada survive). First learn not pull legs of
others, You may not have a leg so you think no body can pull you leg..

The Columnist's Views:
This is in reply to the feedback written by Bhaskar Chakrapani raising some objections coming to his own conclusions about my article “Dr. Raj, nee elli
mareyaadhe?”
Everybody in Karnataka who have at least some interest in histrionics have appreciated Rajkumar’s acting in the past, at present
will appreciate in future too. One must love one’s own culture but one should not be blind to the drawbacks. Criticisms should be taken in right spirits.
Mr. Chakrapani may be an ardent fan of Rajkumar. But I request him not to be so blind to the facts and realities. He must also know Kannada and Kannada culture doesn’t depend upon a single person
or a cine actor like Dr. Rajkumar or people like Chakrapani won't be helping the
matters either by showing over-enthusiasm and hero worship. We have high regards
for Rajkumar just like Sri. Chakrapani, but we can not turn a blind eye towards the drawbacks of Rajkumar and his family.
Criticisms particularly healthy criticisms should always be taken in right spirits and the person involved should have
a broad-mind to welcome such criticisms, accept their flaws and rectify their mistakes.
Now a days, even towering personalities like
Gandhiji are put to microscopic x-rays and are criticized for many of his acts and deeds. Why not Rajkumar? He may be a hero on the silver screen but it doesn’t mean that he should never be criticized.
Mr. Chakrapani must know how he should write and it’s of no use in
shouting from rooftops and calling other stupid or ignorant. He cannot shut the mouths of
hundreds of thousands of people who are criticizing Rajkumar and his family for the deeds, behavior during the time of his captivity.
Here, the question of humanism doesn’t arise at all. I have neither any grudge nor any ill feeling about Rajkumar and his family. Let Mr. Chakrapani come to his senses before coming to such unwanted conclusion. That’s all.
OKC has no inclination to continue this argument
either from the writer or from Sri. Chakrapani
