One
of the most popular kannada star Tiger Prabhakar is no more.
He died at 10:15 p.m. on 25th of March in the Mallya Hospital
at Bangalore. He was suffering from jaundice and had been
hospitalized since a month.
 Prabhakar
who started his career as a "stunt man" and villain slowly
but steadily rose to the height of a popular hero. After
his acting in the film "Tiger" he was always known as Tiger
Prabhakar. He has worked in many Telugu films also as a
villain. His natural acting in many of Chiranjeevi's films
as villain earned him the name as "Kannada Prabhakar".
He
has worked in more than 400 films. He was a good technician.
Lately he had started production and music direction. His
body language and the style of delivering the dialogues
was his specialty. He was an easy going man.
He
had been married thrice. After his marriage with the actress
Jayamala, he was more successful. But after Jayamala deserting
him he was very much upset. He was suffering from diabetes.
When he developed diabetic gangrene, doctors advised him
to get his one leg amputated he refused to do so. He became
more and more ill and was admitted to Mallya Hospital a
month back. Ultimately that was the end of his journey.
Most
of the prominent film personalities visited the hospital
as the news spread. Everyone paid him a tribute. The mortal
body was cremated on 26th evening. Though he is no more
amongst us, his style of acting and action will always haunt
the cine lovers.
