Just
remember these three four digit numbers
1
4 4
0 2 5
0 3 6
1 4 6
These
numbers denotes the constants for every month.
1st
for January 4 for February 4 for March, 0 for April and
so on.
Simply
add these corresponding constants to the date of the month
and divide the number by 7.
From the remainder you can tell the day for the date.
If
the remainder is 0 then the day is Sunday.
If the remainder is 1 then the day is Monday.
If the remainder is 2 then the day is Tuesday and so on.
For
example,
if you want to find out the day for December
31.
Add the corresponding constant for the month of December
(i. e. 6) to the date 31.
Then divide by 7 you. i. e., (31 + 6) / 7
You will get 2 as remainder.
Then December 31 is Tuesday.
Similarly
October 15:
15 + 1 = 16
Divide by 7
2 is the remainder.
So October 15 is Tuesday.
You
should remember that there is no February 29th for the year
2002, No February 30 and there is no 31st day for the 2nd,
4th, 6th, 9th and 11th months.
To obtain the monthly constants for any month simply subtract
the date of the first Sunday of the Month from 7.
You
can use the same method for any year not alone 2002.
