communal carnage: Defence Minister blasts Congress

charges made by the Congress that the Government had
failed in controlling violence as a "shameless
allegation", he said when the Congress was ruling
over 3000 people were killed on the streets of Delhi.
George was referring to the violence that erupted after
Indira Gandhi's assassination.
