City Corporation- Wait and watch policy: Political
parties, which lack a clear majority to come to power
in Myosre city corporation have adopted wait and watch
policy. The congress, which was numerically ahead seems
to have realized that the number game would not be all
that easy to capture power in corporation.

temple surfaces again:
Decreasing level of water in Krishna Raja Sagara Dam
has given an opportunity to view the 500 year old Hoysala
style Venugopala swamy temple in KRS back waters.

MUDA meeting - Cong, JD(S) members resort to
mud-slinging:
The Mysore Urban Development Authority meeting witnessed
high drama and a wordy duel between JD(S) and Congress
members. It all started when Guru Swamy sort clarification
from MUDA commissioner Jairam over inviting tenders pertaining
to consultants looking in to quality of development works
in newly formed layouts. when he repeatedly asked the
commissioner MLC Y Mahesh intervened and said it did not
require any clarification and was common sense that the
process and finalization of tenders normally take a month.
Angered by this Guru Swamy exchanged a few blows with

Surgeon
uses Russian technique to mend broken hip:
City Orthopadic surgeon Dr. Manjunath and his team have
performed an operation using Transosseous Osteosysnthesis
procedure during Pelvic Supporting Osteotomy at the level
of Lschium, in case of avascular necrosis of femoral head,
of a 32 year old patient for the first time in state.
The operation was performed on Manohar at N. J. Hospital,
Vinayaknagar, Mysore.
Swachcha
Grama Project to have people's participation :
The Mysore district credited for the successful implementation
of various pilot project in Anganwadi and School sanitation
is all set for another Swachcha Grama Yojana.
Mysore Bal Bhavan to be made amusment park:
Bal Bhavan, a prominent entertainment center for children
which was among the many neglected parks in the city would
soon be developed in to an amusement park The dilapidated
building, defunct train and scarcity of water in the 22
acre campus in Banimantap will be given a face-lift. It
would regain its lost glory in the city.

Fish kill:
Lake had too many fish The recent death of fish in Ennehole
lake which raised concern by greens has taken a new turn
with Fisheries department's report stating that the society
had nursed more fish than the survival capacity in the
lake.
