Chicken
Fry
Ingredients:
1. 1 medium sized chicken,
2. 1 tbsp. Coriander seeds,
3. 1 tbsp. Peppercorns,
4. ¼ tsp. Jeera,
5. 4 cloves,
6. 1 piece cinnamon,
7. A small piece ginger,
8. 2 flakes garlic,
9. ¼ tsp. Turmeric,
10. 1 big onion,
11. 150 Gms. Ghee,
12. 1tbsp. Lime juice,
13. Salt to taste.

Method:
Clean
and joint the chicken. Grind the spices into a fine
paste. Heat ghee and add spiced onion and then add ground
spices. Fry the spices and add chicken and salt. Fry
well. Add sufficient water to cook chicken dry. Cook
until done. Add limejuice and remove from fire.
N.B.:
if desired, half a grated coconut may be ground along
with the spices.
