ONION UTTAPPA
Ingredients: Rice 2 cup, Boiled rice 2 cup, Avalakki ½ cup, Urd dal ½ cup, Onion 1 big (chopped), Onion 2 big (chopped), Onion flowers (1/2 bunch), Green chilies 8-10 chopped, Jeera 1 big tea spoon and curry leaves.
Method: Soak Rice, boiled rice, avalakki, and urd dal together for 6 hours. Later grind it into a fine paste. To this add 1 big onion chopped and grind it again. Later add salt and mix well. Keep this mixture aside for few hours. To this later add 2 big onions chopped, jeera, curry leaves and chopped green chillis. Heat tawa, smear oil on it and spread the atta on it and sprinkle chopped onion flowers and cook until golden brown. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
